The Assets for Independence (AFI) Program, housed within the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services' Office of Community Services (OCS), recently announced that $19 million in grants is available for organizations wishing to start or expand Individual Development Account (IDA) matched savings accounts programs. The funds will be distributed through two grant rounds with deadlines of January 15th and March 25th.
