KIDS COUNT Data Center

Launched in January 2008, the Kids Count Data Center is an on-line data system that provides easy access to data about children and youth across states and 50 largest cities. The data center is interactive and compares data from consistent and respected sources, with the ability to create graphs and maps ready to be embedded into your websites and reports.

The database features the most current data on more than 100 indicators, including the percentage of children with no health insurance coverage, young adults who are enrolled in or have completed college, and the percentage of children in low-income working families. The KIDS COUNT Data Center replaces the KIDS COUNT State Level Data Online system which was launched in July, 2005

The new Kids Count Databook 2008 will be available on June 12, 2008.
