The applications for the 2008 BR!CK Awards are now online. Apply now for a chance to win $100,000 in community grants and scholarships. The application closes Dec 31, 2007. You must have been born on or after June 30, 1982 to apply. NO MAILED/EMAILED/FAXED entries will be accepted.
The goal of the BR!CK Awards is to shine the spotlight on the Nation's finest young world changers and give them the recognition and applause normally given to athletes, actors, etc.
Celebrities are included as presenters, not honorees.
Former winners include a homeless teenager-turned lawyer who sued New York City for failing to provide adequate support to mentally ill incarcated persons.
